We're seeking a Senior IT System Administrator to oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of our IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring the stability and performance of servers, storage systems, virtualization environments, cloud services, and other critical infrastructure components. You will also implement and enforce security measures to safeguard our information assets. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining and optimizing IT systems.
Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize all aspects of IT infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operation
Implement and maintain infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud services
Establish and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and resources
Perform regular system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
Collaborate with other teams to provide technical support and resolve infrastructure-related issues
Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices
Participate in IT audits, such as ISO and SOC audits
Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansions to meet future business requirements
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure in a corporate environment
Proficient in server administration, storage management, virtualization technologies, and cloud services
Strong understanding of networking concepts, infrastructure security, and disaster recovery planning
Experience with IT service management practices and tools
Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis
Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional) is a plus
Experience with DevOps Infrastructure Automation is a plus
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment
