Senior IT Support Analyst at BDO Professional Services

Responsibilities

• First and second level user support on general IT issues.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and end users’ IT issues.
• Repair and maintenance of faulty workstations, laptops, and printers.
• Installation and configuration of client operating systems, servers and applications.
• Administration of On-Premise Active Directory Users and Computers, Office 365 and Azure Environment.
• Troubleshooting network infrastructure issues that may arise at any time and liaising with ISP to resolve major network outages.
• Management of the firm’s website using Kentico Content Management System.
• Configuring and administering Sophos XG 210 firewall device.
• Installation of software updates and patches using Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
• IT inventory management, purchases, vendor recommendation, and license management.
• Daily server backup on QNAP NAS Storage and maintenance.
• Other responsibilities assigned by next level manager.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related Engineering courses.
• 4+ years experience in Information Technology Infrastructure/Support role.
• Strong Office 365, Microsoft Cloud Platform experience.
• Advanced knowledge of hardware/software, applications, network, printers, and operating system software.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service experience as this position will have a lot of direct client support.
• Cisco, ITIL, Microsoft certifications will be an added advantage
