Senior IT Manager – Logistics & Technology at GIG Logistics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior IT Manager with a strong background in enterprise IT operations, project management, Infrastructure, system administration, vendor management, people management, and software development. 
In this role, you will lead cross-functional IT and product teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions in the logistics and supply chain domain. Your blend of leadership, technical insight (particularly in C# and Node.js), and business acumen will help drive innovation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT operations and software delivery teams across enterprise logistics platforms.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable applications built on C# and Node.js.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
• Ensure system performance, uptime, and security across all infrastructure and applications.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation.
• Mentor and develop IT staff while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with logistics and transportation industry standards and data regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of IT leadership experience in an enterprise environment, ideally within logistics, transportation, or supply chain sectors.
• Proven product management experience and ability to drive product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Strong technical understanding of C#, .NET, Node.js, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and real-time tracking solutions.
• Certifications in PMP, ITIL, Agile, or product management (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic).
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
