Senior IT Infrastructure & Cloud Security Project Engineer at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure & Cloud Security Project Engineer to lead and implement enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud security, network modernization, and cybersecurity projects.
• The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, enterprise networking, SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, and infrastructure security.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Microsoft Intune, endpoint security, device compliance, and application deployment.
• Configure Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Design and deploy SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, secure tunnels, and remote access solutions.
• Implement and troubleshoot enterprise networks, firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and network segmentation.
• Support Microsoft Azure networking, cloud security, Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Plan and execute infrastructure deployments, migrations, testing, and technical acceptance.
• Prepare technical designs, implementation plans, rollback procedures, and project documentation.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate infrastructure administration and reporting.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve infrastructure security, efficiency, and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with 6 – 10+ years of relevant enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
• Proven hands-on experience implementing enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, endpoint management, and security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, or equivalent endpoint management platforms.
• Practical knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, secure remote access, and network segmentation.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Ability to independently execute complex infrastructure implementation and migration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and vendor coordination skills.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Purview, DLP, Azure networking, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with Cato SASE, Sophos Firewall, Sophos Central, Huawei networking, NAC, RADIUS, and 802.1X.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and infrastructure automation.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-700, MD-102, SC-300, SC-400, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Huawei HCIP, or equivalent security and networking certifications.
