Senior Fullstack Developer at NimbleByte Global

Job Description

• NimbleByte Global is looking to hire a Fullstack Developer for one of our partners located in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate would be involved in contributing to the design and development of scalable software solutions.
• Responsibilities span the entire software development life cycle, from conceptualization to deployment. Interested candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to conceptualize software solutions.
• Designing, developing, and implementing web applications using Next.js and related front-end technologies, such as React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, adhering to best practices and industry standards for Next.js development.
• Performing thorough testing and debugging of Next.js applications to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and security.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Develop visually appealing front-end applications.
• Manage databases and applications effectively.
• Write APIs and conduct software testing for responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enhance software.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
• Experience in developing both web and mobile applications using Next.js.
• Familiarity with common technology stacks.
• Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML,
• jQuery).
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js).
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset.
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field.
