Job Description

• The Senior Full Stack Developer will be an integral part of the company’s software development team and is expected to use cutting-edge processes and technologies to build scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant fully-fledged platforms.
• The Individual will be required to use a consumer-focused approach in building solutions while working with both frontend and backend teams in determining the prioritization and estimation of new features and improvements.
• The Senior Full Stack Developer will also build prototypes that meet the project quality standards and requirements, alongside addressing performance issues prior to releasing the finished products.
• It is also the Senior Full Stack Developer’s role to design and review codes for front-end and backend infrastructure and components.
• The successful candidate will also lead the junior full stack team in building elegant and sophisticated user interfaces.
• The individual interacts and engages with consumers/users and involves technical support teams in understanding the needs of the consumer/user, availing insights that ultimately lead to an increased positive impact on consumer experience.
• The Senior Full Stack Developer is also able to design and develop efficient backend functions, APIs, and Gateways that are robust, performant, and can support multi-tenant use.
• The Senior Full Stack Developer also plays a very collaborative role where s/he regularly collaborates with designers, developers, and product owners in order to avail interactive and scalable solutions.
• The Senior Full Stack Developer additionally provides technical leadership and documentation to senior engineering leadership and key stakeholders; continuously informing them on progress and important details of projects at key phases of development.
• The Senior Full Stack Developer will also identify and keep abreast of technology markets and concepts. It is his/her duty to identify and communicate best practices to the team, enhancing efficiency and performance across the department.
• S/he will be required to research and evaluate new methodologies and technologies that improve the quality, reliability, and performance of the teams’ software development practices.
• The Senior Full Stack Developer will also perform other duties as deemed necessary for the proper execution of his/her duties and duties as delegated by the Head of Engineering, Director Engineering, Chief Technology Officer, or the Employer.

Requirements

• The Senior Full Stack Developer has to have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field. The same in practical experience is also acceptable for this position.
• A candidate for this position must have had at least 5 years of working experience preferably working in a mid/Senior Full Stack development capacity.
• The candidate will be an exceptionally good coder and experienced in functional programming, as well as having vast experience in building complex user and application interfaces.
• Exposure to health-tech or the health/medical space is an added advantage.
• The candidate will have significant knowledge of visual aesthetic components and elements such as fonts, layout, color, graphics, etc. They will also have experience in designing and developing ReSTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

The candidate must be greatly proficient in the following:

• Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, SASS,JavaScript, TypeScript
• Frontend frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue
• Web technologies: Bootstrap, RxJS, and Redux
• Server-side technologies: NodeJS, Express.js, Nest.js, and any of Python, Java, and .Net
• Database technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
• Web server technologies: IIS, Apache, or any other
• Other technologies and standards: Bootstrap, web-sockets, NginX, API Gateway, ReST, GraphQL, etc.
• Exceptional Interpersonal skill and people skill

Salary
Net Monthly Salary N350,000.00 - N450,000.00
