Senior Finance Manager at Rovedana

Job Description:

We need someone with a high level of Integrity for the Senior Finance Manager role. The person would perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

Also the ideal candidate will deputize and assist the CFO on several topics, like Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Cash and also assure the correct application of the fiscal legislation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Ensure that all data are timely delivered for the accounting process to the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) in order to guarantee accurate and timely accounting.
• Provide information to the central finance departments in accordance with their requests
• Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
• Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
• Prepare and share closing documents (like bank reconciliation) with local auditors as well as Head Office department for month closing;
• Follow-up on TAX related requests (amongst other Company Income Tax, WHT tax) and liaise with local auditor

Job Requirements:

• HND/BSc. In accounting, banking and finance or its equivalent.
• Masters degree in financial management is desirable
• Professional membership in any financial institution is also desirable e.g. ICAN, Finance Institute etc..
• Expert in the use of relevant financial and accounting software
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a financial manager is required.
• Candidates must be hardworking, process driven, self motivated, have a good attitude, highly organized and very efficient.
• Other functional responsibilities of a financial manager and duties assigned
