Senior Finance Manager (Freight - Forwarding) at OnePyramid

Job Responsibility:

• Performing all the month end/quarter end/year ender process as per SOP.
• Monthly GL Review, matching all GL Subledgers with main ledger, Review of all Schedules of Trial Balance with GL Team and taking corrective measures, Intercompany reconciliations, identification of appropriate classification of assets / liabilities (current & non current) , monthly review of all advances, Allocation of expenses between correct cost center etc.
• Providing all information for the preparation of Budget after coordination with various departments and regular monthly and periodical forecasts. Continuous tracking of Actuals against Budget/previous year and preparation of variance analysis report.
• Ensure correct booking of revenue on monthly basis
• Oversee and direct all day-to-day accounting activities to ensure expenses and revenues are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)
• Supervise the functions of accounts payable, account receivable
• Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
• Preparation of monthly provision for expenses incurred but job not completed
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards including but not limited to revenue realization, costs, cash, and assets
• Ensuring compliance with respect to all Direct and Indirect Tax matters
• Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
• Ensure a basic internal control process is in place

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Professional certification, such as ICAN or ACCA, is preferred
• Excellent use of various financial software and tools such as Excel, SAP, Oracle etc.
• At least 7 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial position
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, tax laws, and financial software and tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and environments
