Senior Environmental Specialist at Zigma Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct leak detection and repair (LDAR) activities using Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) and high-flow sampling.
• Quantify fugitive emissions from valves, flanges, compressors, pumps, wellheads, storage tanks, and other components.
• Perform vent gas measurements and assess flue gas emissions from combustion units.
• Develop emission maps, leak registers, and repair work orders and provide site-specific reports.
• Adhere strictly to HSE protocols, including the use of certified equipment and compliance with regulatory permits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or HND in Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in emission monitoring and LDAR
• Proficiency in using: OGI Cameras (X320, T640 or equivalent), High Flow Samplers, Flue Gas Analyzers and Acoustic detection devices (for flare lines).
• Strong knowledge of EPA Method 21 and leak quantification protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret P&ID, PFDs, and isometric drawings.
• Familiarity with NUPRC emission guidelines and OGMP 2.0 reporting standard.
• This is a short-term contract. The frequency of measurement shall be annual and based on request.
