Senior Engineering Associate at Rensource Energy

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Engineer Associate to support the planning, design, implementation, and performance analysis of renewable energy systems. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with hands-on experience in system design, project execution, and technical evaluation within the renewable energy space.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Design & Analysis

• Assist in the design of solar PV, wind, and hybrid energy systems, including site layouts, electrical schematics, and system sizing.
• Conduct simulations and performance assessments using tools such as PVsyst, Helioscope, and HOMER.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings and documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.

Project Implementation & Support

• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site visits, technical inspections, and quality assurance reviews.
• Work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Data Collection & Reporting

• Monitor system performance, collect operational data, and assist in identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
• Generate technical reports, documentation, and proposals for internal and client-facing purposes.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Support the engineering team in client meetings, project reviews, and regulatory approvals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, operations, and finance teams to align project goals.

Key Objectives:

• Deliver technically sound and commercially viable designs across all assigned projects.
• Ensure smooth execution of engineering deliverables from design to commissioning.
• Contribute to optimizing installed system performance and operational efficiency.
• Support innovation in system design, equipment selection, and process improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• 4–6 years of engineering experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Proficiency in system design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, Helioscope).
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, grid integration, and electrical standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
