Job Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of large datasets using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Data Interpretation: Interpret data, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Data Visualization: Develop visually compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn) to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Data Cleaning and Preparation: Cleanse, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for analysis purposes.
• Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, hypothesis testing, and machine learning algorithms to extract insights and predict future trends.
• Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, quality, and security by adhering to data governance best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data engineers, and decision-makers to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data collection processes, analysis methodologies, and reporting frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior data analysts to foster their professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's Degree is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with data manipulation, querying, and analysis is essential.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create insightful and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis, clustering, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with data cleansing, preprocessing, and transformation techniques to ensure data quality and integrity.

Analytical Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to dissect complex datasets, extract meaningful insights, and identify patterns and trends.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data analysis tasks and provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and interpretation to ensure the reliability and credibility of findings.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field. Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering impactful insights and driving business outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
• Experience working with large datasets from various sources and domains, including structured and unstructured data.
• Previous experience in data visualization, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics is highly desirable.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and analysis results to non-technical stakeholders.

Business Acumen:

• Understanding of business processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry trends to contextualize data analysis and provide actionable insights.
