Senior Commercial Litigation Associate at First Excelsia

Our client, a leading organization in the business and practice of Law is seeking to fill the role of a Senior Commercial Litigation Associate.

Your ability to be successful in this role will require your expertise in Corporate Law, excellent communication skill, display of good team spirit, interpersonal skill, ability to secure and maintain new business, ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, ability to work with minimum supervision, attention to detail, depth in research abilities & legal drafting and ability to accurately & effectively deal with legal issues.

Job Description:

• Provide company secretarial services to assigned clients and provide effective support to Team Lead
• Conducting effective legal research and Preparation of Legal advisory without supervision
• Responsible for managing and supervising other associates within the team
• Interfacing with regulators and stakeholder engagements on behalf of clients
• Own deliverables for assigned client portfolio without supervision
• Responsible for coordination of the preparation and issuance of debit notes
• Support on business strategy and innovations
• Prepare proposals and Capability Statements

Person Specification:

• Minimum of a BL/ LLB from a recognized institution
• 6-8 years’ cognate experience in law practice
• Proven expertise in Corporate Law
• ICSA or ICSAN certification will be an added advantage
• Active practice will be preferred
