Senior Bubble Developer (E-commerce & Fintech MVP) at Strivo Labs

About the Project

• We are building a functional MVP on Bubble for a fintech/e-commerce initiative. The platform will showcase fintech functionality, onboarding flows for merchants and customers, and live order processing with integrated payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop an end-to-end marketplace MVP using Bubble.io.
• Implement customer flows: account registration, browsing catalog, cart, checkout, repayment plan simulation.
• Implement merchant flows: merchant onboarding, catalog upload, order management dashboard.
• Integrate third-party payment gateway (e.g., Paystack/Stripe) for live payments.
• Build OTP-based delivery confirmation workflow using SMS/email APIs.
• Create customer and admin dashboards (orders, payments, tracking).
• Ensure responsive, mobile-first design with intuitive UX.
• Set up notifications (order confirmation, shipment, repayment reminders).
• Apply Bubble privacy rules and security best practices to protect user data.
• Work with the product manager to align design and workflows with long-term roadmap.
• Provide documentation and handover guidance for future transition to a custom-coded platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience building production-grade apps on Bubble.io (marketplaces, fintech, or e-commerce preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Bubble workflows, API connector, data structures, and custom states.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (Stripe, Paystack, Flutterwave, etc.).
• Familiarity with OTP/SMS/email integrations and user authentication flows.
• Good eye for UI/UX; ability to implement mobile-responsive design without a dedicated designer.
• Understanding of data security and privacy best practices in Bubble (role-based access, privacy rules, encrypted fields).
• Strong communication, ability to work under tight deadlines, and comfort with fast-moving agile teams.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience building fintech flows (installments, repayments).
• Prior work with merchant onboarding portals or e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with African fintech/payment ecosystem (Paystack, Flutterwave, Remita).
• Contract Length: 1-2 months (initial MVP sprint; extension possible).
