Senior Audit Associate at Pinnacle Oil & Gas Ltd

• The Senior Audit Associate will be responsible for performing assigned internal audit projects as part of the overall internal audit plan approved by the audit committee.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentations.
• Monitors and reports noncompliance to company policies and procedures
• Recommend process and policy improvements.
• Review expense, payments, POs and ensure propriety of transactions.
• Complete assigned audit procedures (inspection, observation, confirmation, recalculation and reperformance)
• Carry out impromptu visits to depots and stations to conduct spot checks and inventory and cash count.
• Prepare sufficient working paper documentation to support audit procedures performed and conclusions reached for the assigned audit review
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATION

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years experience in audit and risk
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline Member, Institute of Chartered Accounttants of Nigeria (ICAN)
