Job Summary

A law firm in Lekki is seeking to employ a senior lawyer with a minimum of 8 years post-call experience with strong litigation skills, willing and able to take on oversight functions and who is seeking for an environment in which to harness his/her skills towards the growth and expansion of the firm

Job Description

• Highly skilled and experienced in civil and criminal litigation and courtroom practice
• Ability to develop sound strategies towards the conduct of briefs
• Strong corporate/commercial law skills
• Sound understanding of contract drafting, compliance, franchising, mergers and acquisitions and CAC services  Well versed in property law in Lagos State and other key states in Nigeria
• Skilled in arbitration and dispute resolution
• Strong leadership skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Ability to co-ordinate, manage and direct the legal affairs of the firm

• Ability to identify firm short-term strategies in the realization of long-term goals
• Ability to take on oversight functions

Methodical

• Focused, Driven and Goal Oriented
• Strong sense of Ownership
• Willingness to take up managerial functions                                                                   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Legal practitioner with a minimum of 8 years’ post-call experience
• MBA is an advantage
• LLM is an advantage
• ICSAN is an advantage

The person must be residing in Lagos Island or it's environ.
