Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence at Babban Gona

Key Responsibilities

• Generate summaries and dashboards which represent operational data in brief and intelligible format suitable for the target audience
• Attend to data and analytical requests to give support to management requirements
• Carry out quality assessment of data, data reports and the accompanying decisions
• Establish cost of data models to suggest cost savings enhancement procedures and decision-making business
• Liaise with the team to spearhead the organization in employing data-motivated decision-making
• Conduct analysis of findings and offer action-driven recommendations and insights to the organization based on results
• Trail industry yardstick, trends and benchmarks, and convey such information to executive leaders
• Partner with functional leads to understand their data and reporting requirements, and translating them into definitions and technical specifications
• Define, develop and optimize curated datasets and schemas with standardized metrics and definitions across the company
• Work closely with technical partners on designing and developing robust data structures and highly reliable data pipelines
• Troubleshoot technical issues with platforms, data discrepancies, alerts etc
• Perform ad hoc analysis, insight requests, and data extractions to resolve critical business issues
• Support data analysis, market intelligence and competitive intelligence of all sales and pipeline activity
• Undertake data collection, preprocessing and analysis to discover trends and patterns
• Other responsibilities and tasks required to support organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, IT or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 1 - 3 years of related experience in a Business Intelligence role
• Works independently or collectively to develop ideas and lead or contribute to initiatives that will support the attainment of revenue and/or attainment of market share
• Demonstrated ability to interpret data to derive business insights.
