Senior Accountant at Clyne Paper Limited

About the Role:

• As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations, improving our accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with leadership to provide strategic financial insights that will support our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
•  Prepare accurate financial statements and reports
•  Reconcile accounts and ensure proper documentation of transactions
•  Implement internal controls and financial best practices
•  Manage tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, company tax, etc.)
•  Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
•  Work with auditors and ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ICAN/ACCA certification is a must
• 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing or FMCG)
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and improve financial processes
