We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior Accountantto oversee the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of Nigerian tax regulations, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full cycle accounting (Payables, receivables, bank reconciliations and ledgers)
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports
Maintain compliance with Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and company policy
Oversee budgeting, cost control and variance analysis ~ Monitor project level financial performance for solar installations and supply contracts
Support audits, Investor reporting and tender related financial submissions
Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy of entries and reports
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
ICAN or ACCA certification preferred.
Strong understanding of IFRS, Nigerian tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience in energy, engineering, or project-based industries is an advantage.
