Senior Account Officer at EdgeBase Technologies

Job Summary

• To support the Finance Manager (FM) in ensuring an accountable, smoothly functioning, well-managed and results-oriented company

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Operations:

• Daily Posting and updating of financial records e.g Payment & Receipt
• Bank Reconciliation (Daily & Monthly)
• Carrying put all bank payment & lodgment
• Payment of cash for operations
• Daily monitoring of customers account
• Filling of documents
• Support the FM to prepare and monitor the company’s budget and ensure financial transactions are in accordance with Edgebase’s rules and procedures.
• Support the FM in enforcing procedures to improve internal control efficiency and respond to audit issues

Business Support:

• Support the FM in undertaking activities required for the success of the business
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the FM/ Management from time to time.

• Adherence to Budget Levels
• Timeliness and Quality of Reports
• Quality of Support Rendered to the Finance Manager
• Level of Financial Leakages
• Number of Audit Queries
• Adherence to Financial Guidelines and Procedures

Job Specifications
Academic and Professional:

• First Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration or other related field.
• Professional Membership of an Accounting Body is desirable. Proficiency with office automation tools and accounting software is mandatory.

Experience:

• At least 4 years’ experience in finance in function from a reputable firm is essential for this position
