    Security & Safety Associate

    Job Description

    • We are committed to the safety and security of its employees, assets, and operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Security and Safety Associate to join our team and assist in the implementation of safety and security measures, protect company assets, enforce security policies, and conduct risk assessments.
    • The successful candidate will also play a key role in emergency response planning and implementation, ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees.

    Responsibilities
    As a Security and Safety Associate, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety and security procedures and protocols to ensure the protection of company personnel and assets.
    • Collaborating with the security team to monitor and safeguard company assets, including physical facilities, data, and equipment.
    • Enforcing security policies and procedures across the organization, promoting a safe and secure work environment.
    • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and security threats, and recommending appropriate countermeasures.
    • Participating in the development and execution of emergency response plans, including evacuations, first aid, and crisis management.
    • Responding to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with relevant authorities, and ensuring the safety of employees and property.
    • Assisting in the training and education of employees on security and safety best practices.
    • Compiling and maintaining incident reports, safety statistics, and other relevant documentation.

    Qualifications
    To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

    • HND or B.Sc in any related field.
    • Proven experience in security and safety functions is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of security systems, emergency response, and safety protocols.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing situations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, security training) are advantageous.
    • Must be a current resident of Ughelli.
