Job Description

• Security job duties include safeguarding people and property through patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access by checking visitors, enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, documenting incidents, and reporting to supervisors.

Key Duties

• Patrolling: Regularly inspecting buildings, grounds, and perimeters to ensure they are secure and to detect any suspicious activity.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Operating and monitoring CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to observe activity and identify potential security issues.
• Access Control: Checking visitors in and out, screening employees, and enforcing access policies to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Incident Response: Responding to alarms, emergencies, distress calls, and reports of suspicious behavior.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining detailed logs of observations, incidents, and activities, and writing reports for supervisors and relevant authorities.
• Enforcing Policies: Ensuring that individuals adhere to company policies and legal requirements related to security.
• Deterrence: Acting as a visible deterrent to potential wrongdoers and creating a sense of safety and order.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE or it's equivalent with 2 - 4 years experience.

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 / month
