Security Guard at Hillfort School

Our school is seeking a reliable and vigilant security guard to ensure the safety and security of our school premises. This is a residential position, and the successful candidate will live within the school premises to provide round-the-clock security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure the school premises, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and property.
• Control access to the school by screening visitors and maintaining a log of entries and exits.
• Patrol the grounds regularly to detect and prevent any suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms or security breaches and notify relevant authorities if needed.
• Ensure the proper locking and unlocking of gates, doors, and windows as required.
• Assist with fire safety procedures, including regular checks of fire extinguishers and emergency exits.
• Provide support during school events, ensuring order and security.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a security guard or in a similar role (preferred).
• Ability to remain alert and respond quickly to security concerns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and physically fit.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Willingness to live on the school premises and be available for emergencies.
