Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role based in Nigeria for Science Instructors. Responsibilities include delivering engaging hands-on molecular biology and biotechnology lessons, preparing and planning instructional materials, conducting practical laboratory sessions, and fostering a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. Science Instructors will also contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality science education delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explain scientific concepts and experimental procedures clearly and effectively.
• Conduct engaging laboratory and science practical sessions for students.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain laboratory materials, equipment, and reagents.
• Guide and supervise students during experiments to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Monitor student performance, troubleshoot lab issues, and support curriculum development.

Core Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.)
• Master’s degree (M.Sc.) or PhD is an added advantage
• Prior experience in laboratory work or teaching is preferred
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards
• Good communication and teaching skills
• Attention to detail and organizational ability
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
