About the Role
We are seeking a responsible, passionate, and highly organised School Supervisor / Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the school while also teaching Mathematics and supporting pupils to achieve strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
School Supervision & Administration
- Supervise the day-to-day academic and operational activities of the school.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Ensure teachers effectively deliver lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Monitor classroom activities and provide guidance and support to teaching staff.
- Ensure the school environment remains safe, clean, orderly, and conducive to learning.
- Coordinate daily school activities, assemblies, break periods, examinations, and other school programmes.
- Maintain effective communication with the School Management, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Identify operational or academic issues and promptly report them to Management.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of school policies and procedures.
- Monitor pupils' academic performance, behaviour, attendance, and general wellbeing.
Mathematics Teaching
- Teach Mathematics effectively to pupils at the appropriate nursery/primary level.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans, teaching materials, class exercises, and assessments.
- Simplify mathematical concepts and make learning practical, engaging, and enjoyable.
- Assess pupils' understanding and provide appropriate support to learners who require additional assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of pupils' academic progress.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, numeracy, and confidence in Mathematics.
- Participate in examinations, continuous assessments, school projects, and academic programmes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of NCE, HND, OND, B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A., or equivalent qualification in Education, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics, preferably within a nursery/primary school environment.
- Previous supervisory, head-teacher, coordinator, or school administration experience will be an advantage.
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of modern teaching methods and child-centred learning.
- Ability to motivate, supervise, and manage teaching staff effectively.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications is an advantage.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
