Responsibilities

As our School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting and maintaining the health and wellness of our student body. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting health assessments and screenings to identify the individual health needs of students.
• Administering first aid and immediate medical attention in case of injuries and emergencies.
• Managing the administration of prescribed medications, adhering to protocols, and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing health counseling and support to students on various health-related concerns.
• Keeping detailed and confidential health records, including immunization records and medical histories.
• Supporting students with special health needs by creating and implementing care plans.
• Referring students to appropriate healthcare providers for further evaluation and treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state [or country] of practice.
