School Fitness Instructor at Wellspring College

We are looking for a Fitness Instructor who will run and supervise various fitness and health programs in our college.

The instructor will assess the physical and health conditions of our students, create appropriate exercise plans, and monitor their improvement. You will also explain applicable safety rules and regulations (e.g., use of equipment).

Ultimately, you will help our students have fun and improve their health through exercise.

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Fitness Instructor or similar role
• Knowledge of diverse exercises.
• Ability to instruct and motivate people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Teamwork.
• Willing to work early and on weekends.
• Proven experience of CPR and First Aid.
• A degree in Physical Health Science or related courses.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of fitness programs.
• Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions.
• Identify the students’ fitness level and health
• Oversee completion of exercise routines  
• Track students’ physical progress
• Modify exercise plans based on needs, potential injuries or health issues
• Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions
• Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure exercise is properly & safely done.
• Handle nutrition and health-related questions
• Carry out First Aid and CPR if needed.
