The ideal candidate must possess strong understanding of pastoral care, student wellbeing and the ability to provide professional guidance that supports learners’ emotional, academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group counselling to students.
• Implement pastoral care strategies that promote a positive, supportive, and nurturing school environment.
• Identify students’ behavioural, emotional, or academic needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
• Facilitate wellbeing programmes, guidance sessions, and awareness campaigns.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Guidance & Counselling, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in student counselling and pastoral care.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a school environment and manage sensitive issues with discretion.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
