Job Description Driver

• Transport students and other passengers to and from school.
• Transport students for extracurricular events.
• Maintain a clean bus at all times.
• Obey all traffic laws to ensure students arrive at their destination safely.
• Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times.
• Ensure the safety of all students when entering and leaving the bus.
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed.
• Engage with students as they enter and leave the bus.
• Following the planned route and schedule for departure times and stops
• Regularly checking vehicle safety equipment such as tires, brakes, turn signals, and mechanical equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a School Bus Driver or similar role
• Ability to drive 50 Seater TATA Buses and Heavy Duty Buses.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years
• Three or more years of experience working with children preferred
• Ability to carry out assigned route on time
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License
• Knowledge of local routes
• Strong understanding of traffic laws
• Good communication skills
