School Accountant at Halifield Schools

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced School Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting knowledge, be highly organized, and have hands-on experience using QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll and reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets.
• Monitor school fees and other revenue collections.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ accounting experience (school experience is an added advantage).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
