School Accountant at Changeroom

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced School Accountant to manage the financial operations of client\'s  institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the school’s financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are up-to-date.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with statutory deductions.
• Monitor and manage the school’s cash flow and budget utilization.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax filings.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to school management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an educational institution.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
