Sales Support Officer at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Officer with a background in Chemistry or a related scientific field and at least 2 years of sales experience.
• The successful candidate will support the sales team with customer management, quotations, order processing, product information, and coordination of sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support to the sales team.
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, sales presentations, and product documentation.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate product information.
• Process and follow up on customer orders from initiation to delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, sales activities, orders, and quotations.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, logistics, finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, and outstanding customer requests.
• Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Monitor sales orders, deliveries, and customer feedback.
• Assist with product demonstrations and customer presentations where required.
• Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of CRM and other sales-support systems.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales or sales support experience is mandatory.
• Experience in technical, industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or B2B sales is an advantage.
• Good understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and order management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience using CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the sales team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
