    Sales Representative

    Responsibilities

    • Present, promote and sell products/ services to existing and prospective customers.
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
    • Upselling (encouraging customers to buy the comparable higher end product) and cross selling (inviting customers to buy complementary or close related products).
    • Reconcile processed Orders from Forum with Excel report and on Sage.
    • Checking/ measuring stock to ensure that records are accurate and that no losses are incurred due to pilfering, poor storage or damage.
    • Liaising with the logistics department to ensure that items are packed appropriately to avoid damage in the course of delivery.
    • Ensure that goods purchased are correctly and properly packaged and delivered promptly.
    • Promote the goodwill of the organization.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND / BSc in any field.
    • At least 1-2 years’ experience in sales, planning and implementation of sales strategies.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong selling & negotiating skills.
    • Customer service skills (ability to quickly build rapport with suppliers and customers).
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite: Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Must be willing to resume immediately.
