    Sales Representative – Poultry Industry

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking an experienced and highly connected Sales Representative with a strong background in the poultry industry. The ideal candidate has existing relationships with poultry farmers, farm owners, cooperatives, and agricultural associations and can consistently generate sales orders for poultry feed, drugs, vaccines, and other farm inputs.
    • This role is performance-driven and focused on acquiring customers, generating recurring monthly orders, and growing Agrofount's presence within the poultry farming ecosystem.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generate and close sales opportunities with poultry farmers and poultry businesses.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and smallholder poultry farmers.
    • Secure monthly day old chicks, feed, medication, vaccine, and farm input orders from customers.
    • Identify and onboard new poultry farms onto the Agrofount platform.
    • Conduct farm visits, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
    • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
    • Track sales activities, customer feedback, and market intelligence.
    • Achieve and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
    • Develop strategic partnerships with poultry associations, cooperatives, and farm clusters.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in poultry sales, agricultural sales, or livestock-related business development.
    • Strong network of poultry farmers and poultry farm operators.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Good understanding of poultry production, feed requirements, animal health products, and farm operations.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and travel frequently to farms and agricultural communities.
    • Experience selling feed, veterinary products, vaccines, farm equipment, or agricultural inputs is highly preferred.
