The Role

As a Sales Representative, you'll sell Ventri directly to business owners in markets, trade fairs, and business clusters across Abuja — pitching the platform, helping them register, and converting them into paying subscribers. This is a commission-driven role: the more paid subscribers you bring in, the more you earn, with no cap on what you can make.

Monthly Target

Each Sales Representative is expected to achieve a minimum of 10 paid Ventri subscribers per month. A paid user is a customer who has registered on Ventri and subscribed to a paid plan through your referral code. Representatives who exceed this target earn additional commission and performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential Ventri users — shop owners, retailers, traders, and SMEs across Abuja
• Pitch Ventri and explain how it helps track sales, manage inventory, and monitor customer debts
• Demonstrate the platform to prospective users
• Help new customers register and subscribe using your personal referral code
• Follow up with registered users to convert them into active, paying subscribers
• Generate leads through field visits, referrals, networking, and social media
• Achieve a minimum of 10 paid subscribers every month
• Build strong, lasting relationships with merchants and business owners
• Collect customer feedback and share it with the Ventri team
• Represent Ventri professionally at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE; OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree is an advantage
• Based in Abuja
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident and comfortable speaking with business owners
• Strong persuasion, sales, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, energetic, and target-driven
• Comfortable using smartphones and digital applications
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, fintech, banking, SaaS, or business development is an advantage
• Able to work independently and manage your own field schedule
