We are looking for a high-performing Sales Managers in Lagos, Kano, Abuja and Port-Harcourt to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those to plans to the upper management.
In this role, we seek outstanding organizational and sales skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. If you are also goal-driven and analytical, we would like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure our Sales Executive meet and exceed their target.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
- Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
- Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
- Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
- Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
- Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes
- Assess sales performance according to KPIs
- Monitor competition within assigned region
- Prepare and submit reports to the Sales Director
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 4-5years proven experience as a Sales Manager role in the renewable energy industry (Solar)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills. .
- Business acumen and abilities to achieve sales targets.
- Skills to manage and develop promotion and sales campaigns. Maximizing the sales of each new product is among the key sales manager responsibilities and duties.
- Great presentation skills. Sales managers have to represent the company externally e.g. at networking events, conferences and exhibitions.
- Skills to building new client relationships and maintaining them.
- Abilities to set sales goals & quotas, build a sales plan and analyze data.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
- Ability to manage a sales team
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational and leadership ability
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA/MBA in Business, Marketing or a related field
