    Sales Manager

    • As a Sales Manager, you will be driving the sales performance for the Nigeria market, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy.
    • Reporting to the Head of Africa Branch, you will be led to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations.

    Your responsibilities

    • Identify new business opportunities and create clear strategies to convert them. Develop specific customer and campaign plans, driving leadership in their execution.
    • Provide regular reporting to sales management, including sales pipeline development, forecasting, key account status, market condition updates, sales results and team earnings.
    • Deepen and expand relationships with existing customers/partners and stakeholders in the region.
    • Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region, participate in the formulation of the sales contract negotiation and contract confirmation.
    • Accountable for implementing and executing the monthly, quarterly and annual sales strategy.
    • Conduct contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks.
    • Complete the relevant reports and jobs designated by the regional sales director, and attend the relevant regular meetings.
    • Responsible for customer support during entire sales cycle to include, but not limited to:
    • Responsible for internal acceptance and approval of customer orders.
    • Work with the logistics and sales support to ensure that customer receives optimal support and ensure proper order fulfilment.
    • Assist, and if need be, lead recovery efforts for LONGi account receivables.
    • Assists with budget management to ensure expenses meet target goals.
    • Support in the development and implementation of marketing events to promote LONGi in the region leading to increase in sales volume.
    • Travel as required.

    Your background

    • Experience in direct sales and sales management, at least 5 years of working experience in the photovoltaic industry is preferred.
    • Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling.
    • A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
    • Strong coordination and influencing skills.
    • Experience with utilities, EPCs, Developers and IPPs in the region is preferred.
    • Experience in a project and sales driven environment with international markets and cross functional teams preferred.
    • Demonstrated record of success, with consistent increase in responsibility and duties.
    • Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
    • Organization and detail-orientation skills is a must.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional, “can-do” attitude.
    • A Bachelor’s degree or above.
    • Fluency in English and Russian languages both oral and written.
    • Ability to travel within the region up to 70% of the time.
