We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Direct Sales Institutional Officer to join our dynamic sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, such as hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, and other large financial institutions.
The Direct Sales Institutional Officer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting our brokerage services, and delivering tailored investment solutions to institutional clients.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our institutional client base.
Identify and prospect potential institutional clients through market research, networking, and cold calling.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing institutional clients to understand their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs.
Conduct thorough client needs assessments and present customized investment solutions and trading strategies to meet their requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, including research, trading, and compliance, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services to clients.
Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to provide relevant insights and recommendations to clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of Six (6) years relevant post-qualification experience
Master's degree or Professional certification, e.g. CFA, CFP, ACA or other relevant professional certificate is an added advantage
Proven experience in sales or relationship management within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on institutional clients
Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio management strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and present complex information effectively.
Proficiency in financial analysis and using investment research tools.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the financial services industry.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet client needs in a dynamic environment.
Strong ethical values and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
