Sales Executive at Venus Finance

Job Description

• We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven Sales Executive to drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers, promoting the company’s financial and business services, and converting leads into successful sales.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in sales, loan sales, fintech, financial services, or a related field, with a strong passion for achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.

The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To

• Identify and generate new sales opportunities through field marketing, direct customer engagement, cold calling, referrals, networking, and other prospecting activities.
• Conduct field sales activities by proactively approaching and engaging potential customers in designated locations to introduce the company’s products and services.
• Promote and sell the company’s loan products, proof of funds services, and business registration services.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide accurate information about the company’s products and services.
• Follow up consistently with leads and prospects to convert enquiries into successful sales.
• Understand customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products or services based on their requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Maintain an accurate record of leads, customer interactions, sales activities, and conversions.
• Work closely with relevant internal teams to ensure smooth processing and delivery of services to customers.
• Provide regular sales reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, challenges, and achievements.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in sales, loan sales, customer acquisition, fintech, financial services, or a related industry.
• Previous experience in selling financial products or services is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, persuasion, and customer relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to prospect for new customers, conduct cold outreach, follow up on leads, and close sales.
• Basic understanding of personal loan products, proof of funds services, and business registration processes, including CAC documentation.
• Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and customer enquiries effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools is an added advantage.
