Sales Executive - Ogun at Dreamworks Global Logistics Limited

Job Summary

• The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, acquiring customers, promoting the company's logistics services, and achieving agreed sales and revenue targets.
• The role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their logistics needs, preparing quotations and proposals, following up on leads, and building strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Candidates with previous experience in the logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, courier, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain industry will have an added advantage.
• The Sales Executive will actively promote the company's logistics and supply chain services to prospective and existing customers. The successful candidate will develop sales leads, conduct client visits, follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate within approved guidelines, and convert prospects into paying customers.
• The role requires a proactive and target-driven individual who can identify sales opportunities and contribute to the company's overall revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned market.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, online platforms, client visits, and other sales activities.
• Promote the company's logistics, transportation, delivery, warehousing, freight, and distribution services.
• Contact prospective clients to understand their business and logistics requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and other sales documents.
• Follow up consistently on leads, enquiries, quotations, and proposals.
• Convert prospects into new customers and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct client visits and sales presentations when required.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business, referrals, and additional services.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, customers, quotations, and sales activities.
• Monitor customer feedback and work with relevant departments to resolve service-related issues.
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
• Attend networking events, exhibitions, and other business activities to generate leads and promote the company.
• Work closely with the Business Development, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure effective service delivery.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Economics, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification in Sales or Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or a related position.
• Proven experience in lead generation, customer acquisition, and achieving sales targets.
• Experience in B2B sales and corporate client management is an advantage.
• Experience preparing quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, courier, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with an established network of potential corporate clients will have an added advantage.
