    Sales Executive

    Overview

    • The Sales Executive at Darum will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new business partners, particularly SMEs, e-commerce platforms, and corporate clients, to grow our delivery volume and revenue.
    • This role combines strategic prospecting with relationship management to fuel long-term business growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and prospect potential B2B clients and partner businesses in Lagos and surrounding regions.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to onboard new clients and increase revenue from existing accounts.
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
    • Schedule and attend client meetings, presentations, and demos to showcase the company’s logistics solutions.
    • Negotiate and close partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with revenue and service targets.
    • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
    • Maintain accurate sales records using CRM tools, and report weekly/monthly performance metrics.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for new partners, ensuring they are fully integrated and supported.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 3–4 years of proven sales experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or B2B services.
    • Strong understanding of the Lagos business environment and B2B sales cycles.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred:

    • Existing network or experience working with SMEs, retailers, or e-commerce platforms.
    • Knowledge of last-mile delivery operations or logistics industry dynamics in Nigeria.
