    Sales Associate - Delta State

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our sales team and represent Uwana Energy in Delta State, preferably based in Warri or Sapele. This role focuses on closing sales in Delta and working closely with installers and technicians to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong passion for sales and relationship-building, responsible for driving sales of our solar products to residential and business customers in Delta. The role is well-suited for individuals who thrive in both structured and informal market environments and are comfortable with physical outreach and community engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct physical customer outreach and cold calls to generate new sales leads.
    • Identify potential homes and businesses for Uwana Solar Home System installations.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
    • Deliver product demonstrations to individuals, groups, and communities with high interest.
    • Follow up on existing and previously contacted leads to convert them into paying customers.
    • Coordinate sales activities with installers and technicians to ensure smooth service delivery.
    • Support sales and marketing initiatives to achieve assigned sales targets.
    • Develop and maintain a structured customer pipeline within Warri, Sapele, and the surrounding areas.
    • Act as a trustworthy, energetic, and professional representative of Uwana Energy.
    • Provide regular feedback and reports to the sales team on customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field and at least 2 years of sales experience.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to excel in both formal and informal market environments.
    • Strong organisational, listening, and relationship-building abilities.
    • Background or interest in the energy or sustainability sector is preferred.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • High level of self-motivation with a proactive approach to generating new business.
