    Sales Associate

    Role Objective

    To drive revenue growth by providing exceptional customer service, managing front-end retail operations, and supporting the wholesale distribution desk. The Sales Associate acts as the face of the brand, ensuring every customer—whether a walk-in patient or a wholesale client—receives professional, efficient, and friendly service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sales & Consulting: Greet customers, identify their needs, and recommend over-the-counter (OTC) medications and health/wellness products effectively.
    • Wholesale Coordination: Support SAFCO MEGA Solutions by processing wholesale orders, verifying stock availability, and communicating with B2B clients regarding delivery timelines.
    • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving stock, ensuring proper shelf placement using the FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) method, and conducting daily stock counts to prevent "stock-outs."
    • Digital Operations: Utilize the company’s ERP system (Zoho/Odoo) to process transactions, update customer records, and generate digital receipts.
    • Merchandising: Ensure the store and display shelves are clean, organized, and properly labeled at all times to maximize visual appeal and ease of shopping.
    • Sales Reconciliation: Accurately manage the POS system and reconcile daily cash/transfer payments with the Admin & Accounts department.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly individual and branch sales quotas.
    • Inventory Accuracy: Zero discrepancies between physical stock and digital records on the ERP.
    • Customer Retention: High "Repeat Customer" rate through excellent service and professional follow-up.
    • Operational Discipline: 100% adherence to opening/closing times and shift handover protocols.

    Requirements

    • Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in any discipline (Science or Marketing background is an added advantage).
    • Experience: 1–2 years in retail sales, preferably in a pharmacy or FMCG environment.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using POS software and basic Microsoft Excel.
    • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Attributes: Energetic, honest, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
