Sales Assistant at Cormart Nigeria Limited

Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell the company's adhesive products to retailers, distributors, and end users within the assigned territory.
• Ensure consistent product availability and visibility across all assigned outlets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales and distribution targets.
• Monitor stock levels at customer locations and facilitate timely replenishment.
• Execute trade promotions and merchandising activities to drive product movement.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, promotions, and customer preferences.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market activities.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Support collection of relevant customer and market information to aid business decisions.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in sales, merchandising, retail operations, or FMCG/building materials sales will be an advantage.
• Experience selling construction materials, adhesives, paints, hardware, or related products is preferred.
