We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Lead to drive Esty Agroscience’s market growth, strengthen brand visibility, and expand our customer base across Nigeria’s agricultural landscape.
This role requires a blend of strategic planning, on-ground execution, and creative marketing leadership to position Esty’s seed, agrochemical, and consulting products as top choices for farmers, distributors, and institutional clients.
The ideal candidate is an experienced agribusiness marketer who understands the nuances of agricultural input markets, distribution networks, and farmer engagement, and can turn strategy into measurable sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Lead brand positioning initiatives, including product launches, campaigns, and digital marketing.
Identify and manage relationships with agro-dealers, distributors, cooperatives, and institutional clients.
Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for management review.
Coordinate field demonstrations, exhibitions, and trade shows to showcase Esty’s product range.
Supervise and motivate sales agronomists and marketing officers to achieve territory performance goals.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
Manage and optimize digital channels (social media, website, newsletters) for brand engagement and lead generation.
Prepare and present monthly performance reports to the Director of Sales and Executive Team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in agricultural input sales, agribusiness marketing, or a related industry.
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing market presence.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively across assigned regions.
