Safety Officer at Rosettee Construction

A construction company is looking to hire two Safety Officers. The Safety Officers will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational safety guidelines on site.

Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos and Kaduna

Job description

• Ensure workers practice safe working techniques
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards
• Recommend appropriate protective equipment workers should wear while carrying out their tasks
• Carryout toolbox meeting, pep talk and induction
• Conduct assessment of possible risks and ensure preventive measures are taken
• Prepare report on occurences and provide statistical information
• Ensure adherence with safety rules and regulation
• Inspect  premises and the work of personnel to identify non conformity

Job requirements

• Experience in construction safety is a mandatory
• Must possess indepth knowledge of procedures 
• Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous practices
• Minimum ISPON Leevel 3
