Reporting to the Safety and Security Officer the post-holder will collect, collate, analyse and share all relevant information pertaining to safety and security.
They will keep abreast of all events relating to the security environment through monitoring of security incidents, daily reporting and information garnered from social media.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within safety and security or a related role within a well structured organisation
Qualification or degree within humanities, social science, military science, international relations or related field
Knowledge and practical understanding of methodologies around security information collection, collation, analysis and presentation
Knowledge and understanding of physical security design, survey and upgrade
Ability to communicate complex issues to clients, external stakeholders and internal teams
Local travel guidance knowledge within Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara to share with local staff
Strong IT such as PowerPoint and Excel
Strong spoken and written English, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo
Able to represent the country team at security meetings and conferences
Integrity, professionalism, respect for gender, Diversity, and Inclusion (GDI).
Good communication skills (written and oral), working knowledge of French is an added advantage.
