Rig Mechanic (Atlas Copco & Epiroc Drill Machine) at Sinic Engineering Limited

Job Summary

• The Rig Mechanic takes the lead in executing the preventative / corrective maintenance and ongoing repairs to Mechanical Drilling Equipment and support Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• You shall ensure the effective operation of all the drilling rig mechanical equipment keeping downtime to an absolute minimum.
• You shall conduct major overhauls of machines, including engine problems solving, hydraulics problem solving, repairs and troubleshooting, axles, and transmissions.
• You shall conduct preventative maintenance, schedule machine services, inspections and diagnostic tests and identify worn out parts for replacement.
• You shall troubleshoot and maintain variety of water pumps and compressors.
• You shall conduct continual improvement of quality standard on all mechanical equipment, perform route cause analysis and conform with lockout procedures on machinery.
• You shall maintain workshop equipment and tools to the highest safety standards.

Requirements

• Candidates should have minimum of an SSCE qualification with 5 - 10 years experience in maintenance and repairs of Atlas Copco and Epiroc Rig Machines.
