Retention Data Analyst at Modern Lottery Nigeria

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst & Retention analyst is responsible for analyzing customer behavior, engagement trends, and retention patterns to help the company understand why customers stay or leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Retention & Churn Analysis

• Track and analyze user retention, churn rates, and customer lifecycle.
• Identify segments with high churn risk and provide actionable insights.

Cohort & Behavior Analysis

• Build and maintain cohort analysis reports (e.g., Day 1, Day 7, Day 30 retention).
• Study user journeys and engagement behaviors across products and platforms.

Segmentation & Predictive Modeling

• Develop predictive models for churn risk, user lifetime value, and engagement.
• Perform user segmentation based on behavior and demographics.

Collaboration

• Work closely with product managers, customer service, and marketing personnel.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 -2 years’ experience in Statistics, data analytics, or tech experience.
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tool 
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights.
