    Retail Business Development Executive

    Purpose Statement

    • We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Retail Business Development Executive to expand our retail partnerships, drive sales, and increase brand presence. This role focuses on identifying new retail opportunities, managing key accounts, and optimizing growth strategies to ensure maximum market penetration.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and onboard new retail partners to expand business reach.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive retail growth.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
    • Work closely with internal teams to optimize product placement, pricing, and promotions.
    • Drive retail sales performance, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
    • Monitor KPIs, track sales metrics, and report insights for continuous improvement.
    • Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing agreements, and retail partnerships.
    • Organize and participate in retail activations, promotional events, and brand campaigns.
    • Provide ongoing support and training to retail partners to improve product knowledge and sales performance.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in retail business development, sales, or partnerships.
    • Strong knowledge of retail sales channels, merchandising, and distribution networks.
    • Proven ability to close deals and manage key retail accounts.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to analyze retail market trends and develop growth strategies.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
    • Experience in fintech, financial services, or high-growth companies is a plus.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple retail partnerships
