    Research Associate


    • Oversee clinical research and site activities
    • Prepare correspondence, documentation, or presentation materials on findings
    • Serve as project manager for center-sponsored research; draft and submit proposals, gather and enter data, write and submit manuscript
    • Abstract and conference submission and participation
    • Create (PowerPoint) presentations following center template for meetings, conferences, etc.
    • Serve as librarian to curate, collect, distribute journals and relevant articles
    • Conduct literature reviews
    • Prepare data collection tools, collect and analyze data
    • Prepare, maintain, and work with IT to update website material
    • Monitor project budgets
    • Travel to field sites to collect and record data and/or samples as appropriate to the specific objectives of the study
    • Plan and execute center meetings, conferences and academic events
    • Request, source or acquire equipment and supplies necessary for center-based research projects
    • Work with clinicians to prepare materials to submit center-based research papers to journals and granting agencies for publication
    • Prepare materials for grant applications

    Tumor Board Administration:

    • Coordinate with cancer specialists to collect cases for review, including the consolidation of all required media, images, etc.
    • Prepare case templates with all required information
    • Reserve meeting space
    • Manage calendar invitations
    • Track and maintain attendance
    • Ensure smooth running of the tumor board in every way required
    • Gather, analyze and write up data from tumor board meetings for publication
    • Prepare academic journal articles for discussion during meetings and coordinate CME credits accordingly.
    • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong Microsoft office suite skill
    • Superior and meticulous attention to detail
    • Demonstrate professionalism towards sensitive and confidential information.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
    • Statistical and Graphical Analysis of Data using SPSS, STATA, Nvivo.
    • Experience working with databases
    • Research and Publication experience
    • Proficiency with planning and scheduling software applications.
    • Research Footprint – must have worked on research papers or been part of a research team with published papers.

    Ideal Candidate must have:

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience; 
    • Must hold a degree in Medicine or other related medical discipline. Master’s in Public Health will be an added advantage
    • Experience of working with research agencies and consultancies
    • Previous experience in medical analysis and proven knowledge of clinical trial protocol is essential;
    • Experience of proactively identifying and addressing issues;
